Hi. My friends LG Motion 4G MS770 started bringing the "use genuine battery - power off" error and when he tried resetting, it boots but he cant complete the setup procedure because it just powers off after 10 seconds.

Are you using its own original battery?
if yes, try another battery
if no, relace the battery

HI.

I think its a software problem because i have tried many original Lg batteries and i am still getting the same error

Have you tried cleaning the battery connectors and Q-Tips? Also check they're making proper contact

Well if you think it's a software problem, what happened to the phone before it started showing this error?

Hi. Guys I flashed the phone and still got the same error. On opening the phone, I found out that the charging port had been replaced. Can this be the source of the problem? The charging port is well soldered !!!

Its a problem with the voltage the phone is getting from the battery
