Techno W3 bricked after midway and shows boxes only on bootup

Alo,

I was midway unrooting my Techno W3 using a hovatek guide. After the flash was written with a TWRP, it stuck and i had to reboot it. Now, it reboots nonstop, showing what i i can only call a blue death of screen version with no message whatsoever. It is a white screen.

Key combincations dont work anymore (power + volume buttons) as it just reboots after the Techno Logo. I have an exact phone, backed it up and put in memory card and attempted it. Howver, it is still skipped cos I cant go to the boot or recovery screen.

It is soft bricked obviously but I cant seem to get out of it.

Any clues?

P.S. I am downloading this file "https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5igkFEY8oZkSW41a29URWQ5ak0/view" in a desparete attempt to try the steps stated in

Any help.

after flashing the TWRP backup you made, did you try doing a factory reset in recovery mode?
do you by any chance remember the build number of your device?
before attempting to flash any file onto your device, first backup the bricked device using miracle box @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html

Since you have access to a working phone of the same model, why don't you backup the working phone using Miracle Box @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html and restore the backup to your phone?

I wasn't aware of it. I assume i have to backup the good/working phone then restore to the bricked phone, right? I started the process, yes, phone was detected. I didn't chooose scatter cos i failed to see which one to select or not. So, it is creating now a bin file but its been stuck at 26% for a while now. I will leave it like that for until i get an error or something.

Update: worked like a charm! My phone is back.

Hello,

I was wondering if it can be rooted using Miracle Box cos under MTK/ Unlock/Fix i see ROOT. It says Done (reading root, writing root) but Root Checker says phone unrooted. I am afraid of going thru the TWRP process even tho now i have the detailed information of my phone and an exact image. It is W3-H806A1-M-170204V109 build number.

I wouldn't advise you attempt any of that.
Stick to the plan which is to backup the working phone first.
You're to tick Scatter so that a scatter format (not 1 .bin file) will be created. Tick all partitions
