A disk is preventing my system to boot

#1

Good day guys, I tried booting my HP 250 G4, but it keeps on trying to fix problem with drive C, and does that repeatedly without booting. Please help what should I do.

It would help to see a picture of the error message
1. Have you tried running the startup fix wizard
2. Run a hardware diagnostics in BIOS to be sure the hard disk is OK

Power off then power on the PC. once it responds to power, keep tapping F10 till it boots into BIOS.
Check for Diagnostics and run a Hard disk test

Please, I have done the diagnosis and the drive C is said to be bad. I have tried the fix option the system offered but a message came saying it wasn't successful. Something about windows c being locked and not responding to the fix attempt. Please what next?

Remove the hard disk, connect to another PC (as slave) then retry fixing
