Hello. My system sees all android and spreadtrum phones before when I switch them off and connect it to my system when I want to use miracle box or GSM Aladdin to do any work. But after I updated drivers, my system stop seeing all android and spreadtrum phones when I switch them off. Instead the phones charge when I connect it to my system making it impossible for miracle box and GSM Aladdin to do it's work. Though I have uninstalled all VCOM drivers and Mediatek preloader drivers and installed them again, yet the problem persists. I uninstalled all phone drivers and installed them back yet the problem continues. Please, what should I do. I need help and assistance. Thank You.

Uninstall all MTK and SPD drivers using USB deview @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-7660.html then reinstall
MTK: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html
SPD: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-827.html
If it persists then update the drivers using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16839.html

In relation to the solution give to my problems, I have done all that was listed in the solution but none worked. I feel that reformating my system will solve the problem but I don't know how to reformat a system without loosing files. So my question is this. How can I reformat or format my system without loosing any files on the hard disk....

You have two options:

1. To reinstall windows on top of your current windows
2. Backup your files in External Hard drives before formatting

BTW, create a new thread so we focus on that.
