DEBRICKING LENOVO VIBE K5 PLUS: SP FLASH TOOLS

#1
Bug

Hi everyone.

After flashing Lineage OS v14.1 on my lenovo k5 plus, it stucked in animation boot and I can't go to recovery. Someone told me to flash TWRP/rom using SP FLASHTOOL. But I have one problem: download don't start. Everytime I connect my phone, it only shows the battery charging. Is there a way to revive my phone?

seems like a custom rom
did you do factory reset the device in recovery mode after flashing the lineage OS rom?

yes. in fact i've used my phone around 15 mins with the new os then i discovered that there's is no gapps. so I decided to boot it into recovery. but unfortunately can't proceed to recovery. Then when I try to reboot my phone it only stucks in the animation.

You need to install VCOM drivers using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html
BTW, what's the exact chipset of the phone?

Seems like your device is Qualcomm not MTK, you'll need to install Qualcomm Drivers, see guide @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-16965.html

SP Flash tool is for Mediatek phones, not Qualcomm
You'll need to reflash the firmware. Have you downloaded it?

flashing would most likely depend on the file format
have you downloaded the stock rom?
