What's the phone chipset?
Have you tried factory reset in recovery?

Ran a quick search but nothing solid came up.
How did the phone get bricked?

A hard reset (ideally) shouldn't brick your phone.
Was this reset done under Settings , Stock recovery, a Custom recovery or a Battery pull?
Do provide more info on how you did the hard reset
