Tecno L5 gives ROM error while flashing with SP Flash Tool

#1

Hi Hovatek Team,
My Tecno L5 is dead, it started by rebooting itself, it occasionally comes up itself though.
So I tried flashing it with SP Flash Tool and I'm getting ROM issues.

Here is the Screenshots of the errors.

1.Make sure vcom drivers are installed well .

2. Since all the directory are ticked, selected upgrade firmware and click download but before connecting your device, hold the volume down button before connecting the USB cable to make it detect by Sp flash tool.

Thanks for your concern, I've already done all that, I even install the VCOM Drivers manually by disabling driver signature enforcement.

I just hope any other alternatine can be provided.

how exactly did the device go totally dead?
try disconnecting / reconnecting the battery of the device (you would have to unscrew the back cover)
then try again

The first error indicates problems connecting to your phone while the second means the scatter file isn't for your build of the L5
Try using a different USB cord and PC then don't hold any button when connecting
