I think it'll be 32 bit.
I've made some consultations. Could not get an app to jailbreak iOS 9.3.5 32 bit except by downgrading to a lower version then jailbreaking
The above apps I earlier are just ads

Something at or below 9.3.3 .
Make sure you first backup with iTunes
You are then going to need the IPSW file for your iPad 3 (check https://forum.hovatek.com/forum-91.html or online)
Flash the IPSW (check https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-17574.html )
At 9.3.3 or below, you can then Jailbreak using Pangu

Forget pphelper, 3k helper and forget bits of iPad. Just focus on jailbreak. What you need is cydia impactor and Nwastone 1.1 with a new apple account. Get them first, then I will work you through.

Yes, you will need a computer with the latest iTunes installed, a good USB cable, the above applications mentioned. It has always worked for me on iOS 9.2-9.3.3 or maybe I have always been lucky. But you can confirm from @maxpanye, on how to downgrade iOS because I don't know how.

The jailbreak is semi untethered... So it's very easy to remove it unlike the complete tethered like older devices which can only be removed by flashing.
