Please someone could help. I have s bricked tecno y2 and cannot be detected by sp flash tool for flashing after installing vcom drivers rather is charging when connected to my pc

Launch device manager > Power off the phone > connect to PC
Does device manager refresh or the PC make a connection sound?
BTW, hope you're not holding any button when connecting to PC for flashing

I have not notice if device manager is detecting it with a sound. But I didn't hold any button when connecting to PC in stead is charging

once you connect / disconnect any device to a PC, you should hear a notification sound
BTW if you device is charging when connected for flashing, it means drivers havent been properly installed
uninstall all vcom and mtk drivers using usb deview @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-7660.html
then reinstall vcom preloader @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html
