Hi,

I have a hard time rooting my Acer Liquid Z6e (Acer T10).

MTK Droid:

 --- ERROR  :  --- TotalBytesPerChunk Not Found. Set default Page/Spare=2048/64 !!!
--- Unknown ROM structure, backup NOT possible!
ATTENTION!  File /system/recovery-from-boot.p which restore factory recovery in case of phone switching on in a normal mode Is Found!

So no root the easy way.

Could you help me with a custom recovery? TWRP would be great, any help would be appreciated!! Any help on rooting would be great to.

Now I've added a scatter file from the stock rom I am using. the recovery file was to large (8MB) to add as an attachement, but its from the needrom website, the file is called R2-ACER-T10.zip.

Regards,
Herman

1. What's your phone's Build Number & Android version
2. If you wish to backup then do so using Miracle Box @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html in scatter format

Hi,

My phone's build number is Acer_AV0M0_T10_1.021.00_EMEA_GEN1
Android version is android 6.0

With the Miracle Box read function I get a sum error while trying to write the system partition. (see attachement)

That happens once a while. Retry

Hi,

so I got the backup, mostly in bin files. What do you want me to do with it? Sending recovery and boot seems Sendinot allowed

sending you an url (linke dropbox or mega) is also not allowed, so what do we do next?

Herman Burgers

just recovery.bin and scatter file would be needed.
you can save the rest as a backup of your firmware.
