Now, make a copy of the custom ROM you flashed and rename it to Hovatek (for easy reference). Now, in the Hovatek zip, replace the boot.img and system folder there with the boot.img and system folder from our backup you downloaded.
boot into CWM recovery and flash the Hovatek zip file
let me know how it goes because when your phone is working normally again, i'll need your own MTK backup

When I did it, I selected "format all + download it" then it showed some kind of error but I tried again but this time I selected "download all" and the phone booted then stopped at the TECNO logo.

Thanks

ok. we'll come back to your stock ROM. BTW, did you try removing the battery and doing a factory reset in recovery mode after the sp flash tool flashing?

As for the custom ROM approach, what's the status? did it work?

but you said "I was trying to flash a custom rom into my phone then I reboot the phone and it got stuck in the TECNO logo I left it for up to 30mins but nothing happened... Pls I need the MTK Backup for my phone"

the custom ROM referred to is what i was asking you to modify using our own files. once you've replaced the boot.img and system folder with ours, its as good as flashing our own ROM as a custom ROM, and it should work

Factory reset involves booting into recovery mode and selecting the wipe data factory reset option

what error did you get while flashing in cwm? if it was flashed successfully, did you wipe data / factory reset too?
