custom recovery problem?

trying to install super su zip via custom recovery
tells me installation success
but when i reboot phone i dont see any super su
help pls?

What's the phone model, Android version and the version of SuperSu you're using?

What's the phone model, Android version and the version of SuperSu you're using?

it seems you are trying to replace kinguser with supersu
try flashing latest supersu versions v2.79 or 2.82
if it still doesn't work, then consider flashing back stock rom, then flash TWRP then flash supersu directly from TWRP

I tried flashing but it didn't work
Also I have muiu recovery not twrp
The miUi recovery was provided by another admin from my previous post
Also how will I know if the flashing actually works
I tried to flash like viper4android. Got successful flash written but after restarting to os I don't see any change

Flash the stock rom

should i Reflash stock rom
Because I already have stock rom
And flashed it many times before

after flashing stock rom, dont root using kingroot
flash the custom recovery, then flash supersu via the custom recovery
to know if it worked, reboot to homescreen and check for the supersu app, also install root checker to properly verify root status
