[Please help] PHONE BRICKED BY FLASH TOOL (PAP5451DUO)
(20-07-2018, 04:57 PM)LeFizzy Yes, I did. But there's no luck. Probably the EMMC is dead. As I went over through discussions similar problems like this was about a dead EMMC chip - PRELOADER is flashable, and rest isn't.
How this EMMC chip replacement process done?
Do I need to look for a chip for this exact device model, or it's almost same for all MTK devices?
(21-07-2018, 02:19 PM)LeFizzy What do you recommend in this way? I have already downloaded multiple "stock" and "custom"
roms from few forums (eg. 4pda) but all of them gave the same result (0x8).
For the first time, is it possible to flash anything to see if it can turn on (a vibration, a screen led or sth)?
Is there any ROM that's do this?
Plus: I don't have other model like this near me (looking for advertisements, but there's no one) I think
you mean to backup it's ROM. For this, I've found a TWRP backup by a user for PAP5451 in .win format - can we do anything with it?
Edit: Is the mentioned MiracleBox for this purpose?
(22-07-2018, 06:37 PM)LeFizzy Thanks for your reply.
There was no luck with the flashed Preloader, it didn't came up with any sign of life.
And for Miracle Box:
- The device finally showed up in the logs as "Prestigio" so far the dump was this:
info:
id:PAP5500DUO_20130830_v.1.0.10
version:4.2.2
model:PAP5500DUO
brand:Prestigio
manufacturer:Prestigio
Which you can see, the brand is same as mine, but the model number is not (PAP5451DUO == PAP5500 as I read, just the camera is different).
Unfortunately, I can't flash to it because of the connect/disconnect error (with installed drivers, without battery).
It's not working with battery, just without it (but MiracleBox shows "port error" because of it).
What to do now next, to fix this? I also tried to press from one key (power) to all of them (vol+,vol-) none of them worked with battery, and without.

I can't really use Miracle Box, because it just don't have a mechanism like SP Flash has (to keep the connection, if found). It's just let it reconnect again, and throw the error "Unstable comport" over and over.
I hope you can help me out there, and sorry for the above smile stuff, that was a mistake by the emoticon-system.
