rename it to recovery.bin using 7zip manager or your mobile phone's file manager
(25-08-2017, 02:16 PM)mikrotik999 I renamed it, flashed it on different computers with different operating systems but it gets stuck at "writing eMMC" and never reaches the part that says "writing recovery". The first TWRP was able to reach 100%, this one does not. It was Philz right? how about CWM?

Try the first recovery again if you're able to flash. I doubt this has anything to do with the recovery image
(25-08-2017, 09:10 PM)mikrotik999 The first one was able to reach 100% but i always found the stock recovery after flashing, the point was to inform you that this one(Philz) does not reach 100%, it freezes at "writing eMMC", they are both not working.

I need you to be in the present with me.
I'm asking you now to try your
1. stock recovery.bin
2. The TWRP
3. The Philz
I mean right now, not refer to previous results.
I want to know what happens with each so I can pinpoint what has changed.
(27-08-2017, 01:22 AM)mikrotik999 I did exactly what you are saying
Flashed the stock recovery and it succeeded
Flashed the TWRP but i got the stock recovery again
When i flashed Philz it got stuck at "writing emmc something", it never reaches 100%
I always end up with stock recovery no matter how many times i flashed both of these custom recoveries
(29-08-2017, 04:44 PM)mikrotik999 i had always been flashing for about three consecutive times before booting into recovery from the start. Still both of these recoveries are not working, im still ending up with stock recovery.
here's a screenshot
