(06-09-2017, 10:43 AM)Jackrenz just tried the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82-20170526223454.zip
still no luck
by the way, this phone had been bricked before so i downloaded a stock rom from mediafire and reflashed the firmware through SP flash tool. the scatter and recovery file i've indicated/uploaded in my earlier posts come from this rom. maybe i need to dump from miracle box? sorry if i presume it makes a difference though
(06-09-2017, 03:50 PM)Jackrenz i'm sorry but i thought when asked if i could access supersu from app drawer it meant being able to launch it. the settings, apps and logs options are greyed out and i can't tap settings

Alright. flash back stock boot.img and recovery.img then do a factory reset in stock recovery mode.
The supersu app should no longer be there. Please, confirm this
