I got bootloop during OTA UPDATE on my Gionee A1 Plus, so I downloaded a from the , so when I flashed it to my phone using sp flash tool, but the system manager is saying "phone rooted" but I have used many apps to check if am rooted they said system not rooted secondly OTA UPDATE is always saying network error,

CAN I USE THIS ASSAYYED KITCHEN TO REMOVE ROOT FROM THE FIRMWARE?

No, do you still have the OTA update.zip?

hello hovatek team, i havesuccesifully extracted the system.img but i am getting an error like "FAILED TO GET [file_contexts]" what is the cause for this kind of error??

this guide doesn't support boot.img from android 8 up, as they don't contain file_context within their boot.img
what's your device model and android version?

Is there a way I can activate USB Debugging mode on a phone that can't boot to home screen? It's stuck at the tecno logo and won't boot past it

I find this method long, a bit technical and almost impossible to do because my device is bricked and usb debugging mode can't be activated. Pls shey using twrp to flash system.img and boot.img files give the same result abi?

this depends on a good number of things but in general, unless you've actually tried the twrp before getting brick and it works then now isn't a good time to be testing reviving your device using twrp and you should create a thread for your device rather than resurrecting old threads

OK thank, maybe I'll create a thread for it if I can't find a solution to it. I've used the twrp to flash magisk file to root it before last year, so I think it should work for system.img files too.
