Need TWRP for Blu Grand Energy
Need TWRP for Blu Grand Energy
(29-09-2017, 06:53 PM)oldguy327 Hovatek,
Can you provide TWRP recovery for Blu Grand Energy?
Android: 6.0
Build Number: MRA58K
Custom Build: BLU_G130_V08_Generic
Thanks,
OldGuy327
PS: I bricked my phone using an outdated version of SPFT. But I had backed up the full contents of my phone using MB 2.27A from your site. Was able to do a full restore using MB and get the phone working again. Very helpful information in the forums. Thanks!
PPS: Note that the progress window in MB 2.27A (Win7) may stop, showing 100% on the blue progress bar - and no "finished" message appears. And this can happen when there are still more .bin files to load. But I found that the drive activity light on my PC continued to blink indicating that the MB software was still moving data. So I waited until the drive activity light stopped, and then waited an extra 5 minutes, and everything was properly installed on my phone. Might be helpful to others

(30-09-2017, 07:14 PM)oldguy327 Scatter file attached. I am unable to attach the recovery file. I get the error message "The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type." If I change the file type to txt or img then the file is too big (8.5 MB). Suggestions?
Edit: I just tried a zip file and it is also too large.

you can upload to cloud storage (e.g. googledrive) and drop the link.
(02-10-2017, 11:02 PM)oldguy327 I don't have cloud storage. And I tried using split in Ubuntu/Linux to split the recovery file into smaller pieces, but those files would not upload either. Any other thoughts/suggestions?

There are many file upload services you could use: dropbox, google drive, Mega, etc
(05-10-2017, 02:56 PM)oldguy327 I try not to have extra services like dropbox, etc. I have attached the scatter file and the recovery as three zip files. Would you be able to unzip the three recovery files and join them using Gnome Split? If not, I can do the same thing with Ghost and make a self extracting three part zip.
Thanks

There are hundreds of services. surely, you can use one.
(27-12-2017, 11:16 PM)oldguy327 Sorry for the long pause. Other projects. If I set up something with Dropbox and post my recovery and scatter file, would you still be able to provide me with TWRP recovery for my Blu Grand Energy? I will need to use MB to install any recovery as fastboot is not working on my phone. But that would be the subject of a different thread.
