1. Get another PC and install vcom drivers
2. Re-install your version of Windows then install vcom drivers
see https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-400.html for the driver installation guide

i tried that from another 3 PCs didn't work .. Enable DRAM Fail 4032
So I Re-installed my windows and added the Preloader driver as you've mentioned in your guide after disabling digital signature verification .. and the result was like that and i don't know why

( and that MTK Usb port is the phone .. it kept connecting and disconnecting by itself .. i knew from the USB sound )

then i tried to flash the MTK Backup it gave me the same DRAM error
so i disconnected my Cable and when i plugged it in again
the laptop couldn't recognize the drivers

Alright, lets take a few steps back to see the bigger picture.

1. whats the current condition of the phone?
2. are you certain your phone is the 16GB version and not the 8GB version (do you have the pack to confirm this)?

in some cases, the battery needs to be taken out then slot back in for proper flashing
we're obviously looking at a driver issue. Infinix zero can be stubborn when flashing at time. taking out the battery and re-installing drivers help

it can be done but dont attempt it if you dont know how to do it. lets attack this at the driver level. can you get access to a working infinix zero?

here's what I need you to do.
1. uninstall all mtk drivers using usb deview @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html
2. restart the pc
3. switch off the working infinix zero
4. connect it to pc while off
5. See if the PC begins installing drivers (you could also try holding the different volume buttons if connecting alone doesnt initiate driver installation)

I think i figured out the problem !!
i extracted system.img in your MTK Backup
and compared it with my nandroid backup build.prop which i took from my factory rom before being bricked
and i found out something

My Factory ROM appears as J609 with a newer date
and your backup appears as J608 with an older date
and that explains why i had sensors problems when i installed a custom rom
and my friend didn't.
what do you think ?
