HOW TO UNLOCK HUAWEI E5577s/Cs-321 MTN 4G/VIVA MIFI [2017]

Today we have in our hands another variance of E5577 from MTN almost slimilar to E5573 with LCD and increased battery strength to 3000mAh. This guide is not new; same old boot shot method. Follow this guide you understand and wish to unlock your E5577s-321.

The E5577Cs-321 and E5577s-321 uses almost same firmware files. I have tested the files on both devices. It works perfect.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Balong USB downloader
2. Huawei Drivers V5.0xxx
3. Huawei Firmware 21.180 (usbloader already inside)
4. Huawei Firmware 21.316
5.WEBUI17.1xx

GUIDE
1. Install the Huawei drivers

2. Disassemble and boot shot test point with gnd as shown (just like other boot shot already known)

USB COM detected- you should have PC UI com port detected in device manager

3. Run Balong Downloader and flash Usbloader.bin file from Huawei 21.180 firmware

4.Install firmware 21.180; run setup updater to install finish

NB: LCD shows installing during firmware update process[/color

[color=#ff33ff]Your device should reboot into Factory Test Mode (FTM ) showing on screen

5. Install huawei WEBUI17 ; run updater to install finish

6. Install Huawei firmware 21.316

You should see battery error on screen at begin to resume user information; dont worry just hold the board and insert the battery gently

It should now complete and reboot to Huawei Logo and proceed to main interface

7. Note your imei ; read modem info with dc unlocker and write IMEI via AT command AT^CIMEI="IMEI"

You can now do a quick repack and insert Sim; WebUI as Usual ...........

3g and 4g all Working Perfect
Unlock Done

Hi,

Router: E5577Cs-321 (portugal)

I try to do this but i'm stuck in step 3 because my router enter on reboot loop. The screen show FTM and the update wizard show the following error:
"error Code:21, Failed to restore user information".

You can help please ?

were you able to successfully flash usbloader?
which particular step did you get the user information error?

Sorry .. I mean step 3 in updater (In your step 4).
I used usbloader with success but after step 3 in update wizard, the modem enter reboot loop.
I'll try with your software.

In Step 3 of updater, more properly when finished the transfer, the router reboot and enter FTM mode but just few seconds because he reboot again, again... and the pc never get detect the router.

I followed the steps until the step 4 to install the firmware 2.180 . I run the setup Updater to install. Whiles installing to 2 (getting device info), it will bring up error code 21, getting device information failed!.
Please help me

try this
repeat the entire process from flashing usbloader again but skip flashing the 2.180 firmware

I tried what you said and the step 5 it was done with success but the step 6 (the firmware: 21.316.01.00.00) stops when it almost at the end.

The device rebooted and the screen show "battery Error" but on device manger at windows, the device it's not recognized. (image attached: 2.png)

I tried the step 6 again and when the screen show "battery error", i put the battery carefully and the screen change to huawei logo but on device manager, the device it's not recognized. (image attached: 1.png)
