(30-10-2017, 04:57 AM)Conman37 My friend who has a PC is out of town. So I downloaded the OS firmware from the website like you told me. What files would you like from it?

The scatter file and recovery.img

Here is the scatter text file. I could not find the recovery.img. In one folder I found a file called recovery.sig. There was a boot.img and a tee.img, but I didn't see a recovery.img. How do I get the recovery.img

What you have downloaded must be an update.zip not scatter format firmware. This is of very little use.
What's the size of the boot.img?

Upload the boot.img lets try using that . You could still try using your MAC if you have fastboot setup and running on it

I don't know what a fastboot is or if I have it. I will just attach the boot.img.

The boot.img file is too large to attach, so here's a google drive link:

Download the zip @ https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachm...1350078941 and extract it to your MAC's desktop
Next, launch Terminal and navigate to the adb folder
Code:

cd /Users/<yourusername>/Desktop/android

Connect the phone then run this command in terminal
Code:

./adb devices

Lets me know if your device is detected
