I tried using miracle box to root the phone so that I could uninstall the app that controls the sim lock since it is locked to MTN, when I boot the phone and the MTN boot screen goes off it gives a blinking "no command" screen throughout (by blinking I mean the no command android image isn't stable). Please I need your help guys!

interesting,
where was theĀ app located /system or /data ?
did you remove any other app from the device?
and did you by any chance make a firmware dump before removing the app?

After I ran it with miracle, I booted it and the first screen came up and then it enters the "no command". I don't particularly know what I did wrong and the firmware is not easy to come by cause I've looked everywhere I can

Need to clarify some things
1. You said you were trying to root using Miracle Box. Could you shed more light on exactly what you did
2. You said the phone is stuck in No Command (which is close to stock recovery), have you tried holding the power button till the phone goes off / reboots?

In the miracle loader there is MTK; under the MTK there is unlock and rooting option there, that's what I did. When I hold down the power button in the no command mode it restarts and goes back to the same no command mode.

This means there's something wrong with the /system partition. Do you have the stock rom / firmware for this phone model?
