if your device can boot to homescreen then settings > about phone > build number
if your device is bricked, then see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16005.html

I flashed the one for X559-H8015C-N-171220V119 on my bricked device without first checking my original build number. Everything works except the 3G network. The network bars are full on 3G on another android phone next to mine but my own is empty showing "Emergency calls only". Its fine on 2G though. And my build number in "about" is now same as the one i flashed (X559-H8015C-N-171220V119), how do I fix the 3G and is there a way to get original build number?

try flashing nvram listed at page 1 of this same thread, if the issue still persist, then create a new thread so we'll focus on this
for build number, unless the build is plainly indicated on the motherboard or body of the phone then no, esp not after you've already overwritten the original OS

I downloaded NVRAM and scatter file and put them in same folder. When i load scatter file in SP flashtool the NVRAM file isn't loaded and there's no option to load NVRAM, only options for preloader, lk, boot, recovery, logo, frp, secro, system, cache and userdata.
