Hello, I have just gotten an Innjoo Halo 3. I would like to know if there's a custom recovery for it, so I can flash Magisk, Xposed and ARISE.

My device's information is as follows:

- Android version: 7.0
- Baseband version: MOLY.LR9.W1444.MD.LWTG.MP.V110.5.P32, 2017/04/26
- Kernel version: 3.18.35+ release@release12 #1 Wed Apr 26 17:51:47 CST 2017
- Build number: Halo3-7.0-InnJoo-20170426-V1

I'm afraid not. I can't find it at InnJoo's website either, my model doesn't show up in the download page.

However, I do have ADB and fastboot. I should be able to pull whatever's needed, if you send me some guidance.

Thank you for your reply.

you wont be able to pull anything out using adb without root
you can try requesting for the stock rom directly from innjoo and hopefully they'll provide you a link
also you can also try dumping the firmware of your device using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html
lets know if you are successful

I have e-mailed InnJoo and am awaiting their reply.

I tried to dump the firmware myself by following the guide you sent, but unfortunately Miracle Box isn't working for me.

I opened the loader, ticked "Read", selected "8th Boot(MT65xx & MT67xx/8127), ticked "Save as scatter file" and hit "Start Button". Turned the phone off and connected the USB cable. As soon as I plug it in Miracle Box connects to the phone, but when it hits ">>Downloading Boot8 . . ." the program crashes (Windows dialog: "miracle-box has stopped working") and the phone boots as normal.

Miracle Box log:

Code:

Fuzzy Logic Method is very safe and reliable !
Check Authentication...
Check the new version.

Are you certain you downloaded the loader version?
BTW, try using a different PC

Yes, I downloaded the right version.

Tried it on a x86 Windows 10, same thing.

But I tried to do this on a Wiko Pulp (MTK too). It works on the Wiko, no crash. So it's something to do with the InnJoo. Maybe because the battery is non-removable?

Do I need root to try the SPFlash method?

Also, I will try to use one of those chinese root methods, like KingoRoot. I've had success converting KingoRoot to SuperSu before. Maybe then I'll be able to pull the files myself, or use one of the root methods.

Thanks for not giving up!
