if you were able to successfully root the working device, try making a backup of boot and system using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-1405.html
can your device boot into recovery mode or fastboot mode?

Ive successfully backed up the working phone using Miracle box but a concern is will flashing d backup change my mac address?

It might, depending on what you backup then flash but this isn't a problem as you can always rewrite mac address
