lets try something, i believe you still have the files from miracle box dump
create a new folder on your desktop , download the scatter file from the attachment below and copy it into the new folder
copy the following files from the miracle box dump folder to the new folder and rename them accordingly
preloader.bin - preloader.bin
lk.bin - lk.bin
boot.bin - boot.img
recovery.bin - recovery.img
logo.bin - logo.bin
secro.bin - secro.img
tee1.bin - tee1.bin
tee2.bin - tee2.bin
system.bin - system.img
[take note of the files to rename from .bin to .img]
flash the files within the new folder using SP flash tool and if its successful, perform a factory reset in recovery and try booting to homescreen.
lets know the outcome
Error:? (3)

Come in x3non.
After copy the files to a folder and using the scatter file to flash, the flash process stops prematurely and returns the error
Code:Error:? (3)
[HINT]:
The phone phone refused to switch on, so I tried again but got same result.
So since the scatter has same partition values as that of the miracle box scatter I decided to use miracle box and the backup from it. Surprisingly miracle box recognized the device and the flashing starts and it take its time to flash every partition. Unlike before it just pretends to flash within few seconds, but this time it took almost 1hour.
And wala , when I switched it on it boots but it ask for privacy... password /pin of which I Neva set any before the phone brick but it gave me option to erase the data so I clicked on it. The phone reboots to a screen showing standing android bot with Chinese alphabet at d bottom for several hours so I switched it off and try to boot to recovery but the it keeps booting to same screen.
So had to flash again and this time before booting the phone normally I went to recovery and restored factory setting.
To cut d long story short, this is me currently posting with the device.
Thank you very very much xenon and hovatek, you guys are good.
(28-10-2018, 06:12 PM)Overdrive Please... Is it still possible to port a custom recovery as well as a custom ROM on the phonepad 3 as of now.. I've dying to work out an android 7 custom ROM since tecno wouldn't give us any updates.... As usual?
