The device is getting auto disconnected. This could be due to a number of things.
Lets try recovery.
copy supersu or magisk zip to both phone storage and sd card
Port Philz recovery using our tool at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21495.html
in fastboot, use this command
fastboot boot recovery.img
thank you for your reply
I get this error
C:\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot boot recovery.img
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 0.327s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: invalid kernel address: not lie in memory)
finished. total time: 0.352s

when I try with stock recovery it works but with your Port Philz recovery or twrp porter it doesnt
and whe I flsh the ported recovery it pass but the ablet wont boot to recovery unless I flash the stock

From what I've seen, your phone won't accept modified images because of signing.
we'll need a private session to dig deeper into this.

@laachir123 @howatekI have almost the same problem, I found this thread via Google.I have a Teclast A10S which is also based on MTK8163.

My goal is to root with Magisk it and if possible to install TWRP. The bootloader is unlocked, I've tried to flash the TWRP I've generated with Auto-TWRP (the 2 versions) and with Auto Philz recovery but once flashed the recovery don't load. the flashing is fine it's just that the recovery don't boot.

K:\AndroidUtilities\platform-toolsR28>fastboot flash recovery "K:\AndroidUtilities\Mediatek AutoPhilzRecoveryPorter V1.3\output\recovery.img"
Sending 'recovery' (9136 KB) OKAY [ 0.267s]
Writing 'recovery' OKAY [ 0.514s] Finished. Total time: 0.792s

-----------------
So I wanted to install Magisk manually with Fastboot but like you I receive the error "remote: size is too large"

K:\AndroidUtilities>fastboot flash boot K:\AndroidUtilities\patched_boot.img
target reported max download size of 134217728 bytes
sending 'boot' (20700 KB)...OKAY [  0.570s]
writing 'boot'...FAILED (remote: size too large)finished. total time: 0.586s

After making some research on Fastboot I found that I had to "cut" the image file in multiple parts with this command:

K:\AndroidUtilities>fastboot -S 10M flash boot K:\AndroidUtilities\patched_boot.img

Invalid sparse file format at header magic
sending sparse 'boot' 1/3 (10236 KB)...
OKAY [  0.333s]
writing 'boot' 1/3...
FAILED (remote: sparse image size span overflow.)
finished. total time: 0.347s

So I''m kind of stuck and really like to be able to install a custom recovery to be able to install Magisk more easily.

I'd like to know if you have been successful installing TWRP or at least installing Magisk with Fastboot on MTK8163 ? Huh

Note: Here's the stock firmware if you need to look at it: https:  //romprovider.com/2018/03/teclast-a10s-m3h3-firmware/
