Pls I need help...I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GTN7100 phone...I just discovered that the sound won't come out well on the headphone when plugged in. The headphone does not work well. .I have tried several headphones but to no avail....I believe this is the best place to get it solved

try the headphone on a different device, if the headphones works then its likely the port on your phone is faulty

I hv done all that. It worked on another device but reduce to work on my Samsung. ...will factory reset solve the problem?

looks more like faulty hardware but just to be sure it isnt software related,
boot into safe mode using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-572.html see if the issue still persist in safe mode
if it does, then you can try factory reset

okay. But pls how can I factory reset my phone as it is already rooted...I need guide on how to do that without getting the phone bricked or flashing an entire firmware.

Factory reset shouldn't brick it. Just boot into recovery mode or Settings > Backup & reset.
but I think its a hardware problem not software

1 Backup important data

2 Boot into recovery

3 clear cache

4 wipe/reset

5 reboot

6 smile[emoji4]
