Log from MtkDroidTools v2.5.3:
--->>> Connect to device <<<---
--- ERROR :No find KernelGZ
--- ERROR :No Split Boot Image
--- task is complete ---
that exactly the result i get after everything

some 4.4 MTK Android users complained about something similar but were able to resolve it after several trials. try downloading mtk droid tools from another source.
let me know if it persists.
BTW, do you have busybox installed on the phone?

well. thats strange. some members have been able to create cwm recovery for their p9 4.4s using the very same method. you might have to get an already created image or port

Here is your solution: User other Kernel (the same model, EX: tab8 not work but tab8i work, you can borrow kernel of tab8i ) to override kernel in boot.img and recovery.img (which can build CWM by MTKDroidTool without error). Then use them to build recovery_pactched.img by MTDroidTool. Final, use your device kernel to override the fake kernel in recovery_patched.img before flash.
