please please I want to create cwm recovery on tecno p9 4.4.2.every thing
went fine i back up sucessfully until i wanted to reboot into recovery image.I got d error.
no split image found and something wrong kernel.
I don't know wat to do.
or can i get cwm image for tecno p9 4.4.2

I have done all that...it just not booting the IMG and it giving me the error that no split image.....

I hooked my phone up to the Mtk tools rooted my phone and did the back up successfully only to get to the point where i have to reboot to recovery using the boot image created. when it pops up create cwm automatically i select yes only to pop up the error that no split image and something that has to do with kernel.I have tried doing it on a similar device thinking mine has d problem it d same.it just not creating that recovery

some 4.4 MTK Android users complained about something similar but were able to resolve it after several trials. try downloading mtk droid tools from another source.
let me know if it persists.
BTW, do you have busybox installed on the phone?
