(24-05-2018, 05:20 AM)Joseph_ify I also discovered through miracle box log that, during the backup, the driver came up as mediatek preloader USB vcom. But now if I connect the phone to PC it comes as mediatek DA USB VCOM. Is there any problem with this or is it normal?

From experience, I'd advise that you keep charging for a while before attempting to write back the back up you earlier created....

How many days did your phone remain dead before it came back on?

Almost a week(5-6 days). But yours may not stay that long if you charge well. Meanwhile, what error report did you get when trying to write back your dumped file?

It didn't write anything else aside that the mediatek DA USB driver has been connected and nothing happened

i guess you've gotten your confirmation that the charging isn't a one day thing, thats why you see there's no time-frame and using power bank might not do much.
use wall socket charger, the original charger to be precise or one with equivalent output

I'll do that. I used power bank because we don't have steady light here. I'll try to do so

It's already one week and my phone isn't on. I want to know if there's a way to turn off the active mediatek DA USB VCOM driver that is keeping the phone dead?

If your phone gets detected as mediatek DA USB VCOM Driver then it has shown a sign of life.
Try updating it using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16839.html then flash the backup you made

I updated the mediatek DA USB VCOM driver that keeps showing up to mediatek preloader VCOM driver and tried flashing my backup using miracle box. It didn't work. Can a dongle work out?

"it didn't work"
where you able to flash successfully or it ended with an error?

Finally, my phone came on. I discovered that it wasn't the battery I disconnected last week. I disconnected the battery clip and connected it then plugged in the phone. It came on at 79% charge. Thanks hovatek
