(27-06-2018, 10:22 AM)Benzalf I've always been rooting and fixing dead bricked phones for others for free. I can't believe I couldn't root/fix my own phone!
Now I have it back. So, somebody, help me root this 'bad boy'!
Hahaha!

Now, have you backed up the device's firmware using the custom Download Agent (DA) we provided and wwr (or Miracle Loader if you think this will work)?

No please. I will when I get home tonight.

Errhh... please what does this error mean in SP Flash Tool. "Error -status- insufficient buffer(0xC0010007)".
It happens when I flash a ported recovery from the latest TWRP Recovery Porter version 1.2.
This is by far the most promising of all the recoveries I've flashed as it's actually smaller in size compared to the original stock recovery and the other TWRP Porter versions' output recoveries too.....so I don't know why it throwing this error at me.
Thanks.

I'm still working on that Miracle loader though. I need a Windows 7 OS to do that.

Did you remember to load the custom DA in SP flash tool?

I'm still using the recovery from the stock backup on this site.
I was able to flash the previous recovery results from the TWRP Porter but those only booted to the stock recovery even after flashing multiple times.(This was before it was bricked)
After I received from CarlCare, it now gives that insufficient buffer error.
I'll just try the WWR backup method and see how it goes.

is the current build number of your phone the same as the firmware listed here?
also when trying the wwr method, don't forget to use the custom DA when doing readback using SPft

No. Mine is CA7-H633BCDK-O-180308V122.
Is it better to upgrade before backing up?
Thanks.
