Device: Starmobile UP Max (MTK 6582, Android Lollipop 5.0, Philippines)
MTK Auto TWRP recovery porter tool successfully ports recovery.img.
Also successfully flashed recovery.img [TWRP] using fastboot. However...
1. TWRP recovery only works as long as I don't reboot the device,
2. TWRP recovery does not mount any partition (/root, /storage, etc.)
3. ADB sideboot also doesn't work because TWRP can't mount anything.

Tried both v. 1.0 and 1.2 of MTK Auto TWRP recovery porter tool, same results. BTW, Mediatek Auto Philz recovery porter v. 1.3doesn't work for my device at all.
Can you please help me make a custom recovery for my device? :'(
Would love to do it myself but I'm a total noob in all things Linux and programming.
