Yeap, the command was checking DM_Verity

You must have DM_verity
At the end of porting (on the 30 seconds countdown page), What was the DM_Verity status displayed by the tool

Okay so how can I patch the boot.img my boss
(27-06-2018, 01:01 PM)hovatek Using Magisk @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.htmlIt did not fix. The same problem after doing that.please is there any other way of doing this so I can boot to TWRP. Sort of desperate. Thank you.
You rename patched_boot.img to boot.img then flash to your device after which you flash TWRP

(28-06-2018, 10:19 AM)hovatek Try 8.1g in the tool instead of 8.1This one worked but there are problems.
Ensure your magisk patched boot is still in place

First, am asked for a password to decrypt data. It is not my phone password cos I entered it and it did not work. Again, I took away the password such that there is no password on the phone but still, I was asked for a password .What is this password??
Second, I can only boot into recovery by manually entering buttons. If in the recovery and tries to reboot to recovery again, it boots to the android logo, gives a peep sound and restart to home screen just as first.
Third, I once rooted the phone using Magisk but when I factory resetted the phone, it bootlooped the phone. Now, if i install the stock boot.img, will it take away the ability to boot into recovery or I can install a supersu zip via recovery and it will help to boot into recovery still despite being stock boot.img?
All in all, it did work and am able to boot to recovery now but how do I fix those problems cos I tried backing up and the data partition was shown 0MBt
(28-06-2018, 01:56 PM)hovatek 1. I'll work on a recovery for you to test and see if this password thing peristsHmm, okay boss. It is better trying than none. This is the link to the recovery and boot images@ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jQyW70x...p=drivesdk
2. We'll look into this in future versions
3. If you don't want to use Magisk then you can flash your stock boot (we'll need to patch that manually; so no root after flashing it) and TWRP then flash supersu. I can't say whether or not the recovery booting thing will persists though
Upload your stock boot.img and recovery.img
