[Please help] Wiko u feel lite root
(29-06-2018, 12:27 AM)zetueur Hi everyone,
I tried to root my wiko u feel lite using the guide from /thread-15271.html (can't post the link since my account is too recent, just paste at the end of the website's url)
but I can't get it to work. (I searched a bit on the forums but couldn't find anything that could help me)
I followed every steps but I always end up in the same situation : the TWRP is working but I just can't boot the phone anymore, and he's soft bricked.
I have the wiko's executable to reinstall the system, but of course whenever I do that, that also wipe the recovery.
So I don't know what to do, and here I am, asking for your help.
Thank you in advance.
(29-06-2018, 05:18 PM)zetueur Followed the guide you sent me, my phone is booting fine but according to root checker it isn't root. Any idea what I might have done wrong ?
I flashed it through fastboot by the way.

where did you get the boot.img you've patched and flashed?
what's your phone's chipset?

And I used an application who told me my chipset was MT6735.

Why not use the boot.img from the firmware you used to unbrick your phone?
(30-06-2018, 04:14 PM)zetueur It's an executable, I have no idea how to get the boot.img from it.
So should I flash it using the files from your link ?
Or maybe there's a way to extract the boot.img ?
