Based on what you've described, you might need to resort to a hardware procedure of some sorts e.g dismantling the device to disconnect and reconnect the battery, EDL cable / JTAG, Mother board test points...
Have it looked at by someone with hardware experience

When atached to PC through usb cable the PC says USB input device, nothing more, tablet no sign of life.
