(25-07-2018, 12:30 PM)Richie Rich Please i have perform the scan using (command prompt )but the computer was able  to  repair some of the corrupted files. And then restarted the computer, but i did encounter  the same problem. however, i followed the second method( Registry Editor (regedit.exe)) and to usernit the value data was the same code C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe, yet whenever i switch off or restart my computer the problem still presist

it seems either a program or virus is trying to run that file at startup. since the file is missing, you can either replace it with a dummy vbs script file that does not [so when it runs you don't get notified and nothing happens] OR use some program to try figure out whats trying to launch this file and uninstall / remove it

e.g of dummy vbs
open an empty text file and input
WScript.Quit
save the file and rename to b.vbs and copy it to C:/ness

on the other hand, you can check startup folder or use task manager or system configuration [depending on your windows version] to check all startup items and what file they try to run

also do a full system scan using any good AV

disabling in task manager is good enough, you can also try to remove the item entirely from startup  list using regedit, navigate to each of the locations below and search for the vbs script then delete the record
Code:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesOnce
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx

since we can't tell if its a program you installed / uninstall or a virus, its best you do a full system scan using an AV like we suggested earlier on
