Hi, I flashed the firmware for Tecno F2 LTE found here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-234...#pid144737 and the phone was bricked.
I did a hard reset and the phone could not get past wifi connection menu. No next button to input google account etc. It was very strange I had to go the firmware flashing route and now its bricked.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

whats the current state of your phone now? [totally dead or stuck on the wifi conn menu]
and was the flashing process successful with a green tick?

If the flashing was successful, you may consider holding the power button for about 45 seconds. If that doesn't work, you may also open the phone, disconnect and reconnect the battery. while you are at it, send the images of the phone board (zoomed) so we can check for clues to the build number.

@X3non The phone is not responding to power button. It is still detected by flashtool but it gives many errors when I want to reflash. It shows instant error immediately the phone is detected after clicking download. STATUS_SEC_AUTH file needed.
I added an auth file and it shows instant error STATUS BROM CMD Fail 0xC0060005.
Yes flashing was successful with a green tick. I also did not flash the preloader.
Thank you.

@EMMANUS I saw this 8.1.0/011019/abc1804... on the recovery menu before wiping the cache and yes flashing was successful. I held the power button for 45 seconds as you suggested but no change.
Thanks you.

The first time you flashed it, you didn't need any auth file right?

Yes. I flashed it with the DA bin found here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html. However I did not include the preloader. Maybe it's because the DA is listed as testing?

from this reply of yours, it means the DA file actually works
disconnect / reconnect the battery of the device > connect to charger and try to power on

No change. I noticed that it does not ever get warm after leaving it on charge for many hours. The battery was at 56 percent when I flashed it. It is still recognized on PC though.
