Sir I dont know to ask this in your thread...
My device have a custom kernel..
It has inbuilt bosybox i.e., in /sbin...... 1.22.1 Dorimanx
I don't know about kernel modification...
I want to change that busybox to something other latest one....
After decompile, just replace busybox file or any further modification required?
Is replacing custom busybox is safe?

Thanks

Try doing that using Magisk > Download > Busybox

Oh. You didn't mention that.
You can just unistall busybox (root) then install a higher version using a busybox installer apk.
PC tools like Assayyed kitchen also have this function but I don't know which version of busybox will get installed

(26-08-2018, 12:46 PM)HemanthJabalpuri But the kernel restores its busybox in /sbin after every boot...

Do you mean after you delete all busybox entries from
/su/xbin
/data/adb/su/xbin
/system/xbin
/system/vendor/bin
/vendor/bin
/data/adb/su/bin
/system/bin
/su/bin
/su/xbin_bind
/data/adb/su/xbin_bind

it gets replaced on boot?

Paste a link to the boot.img if that's the case

You can also try Assayyed kitchen to remove busybox

wherever the files are located the question is when you delete them, do they return upon reboot?
also the link you posted isn't working
and have you tried removing busybox using assayed kitchen as suggested? that might work
