Hello,

I recently bought the new Tecno NX from Orange with Android 8.1 go edition, but I can't find any stock firmware for it.
Please is anyone can help me to find out this file or maybe can upload the stock firmware if you have the same device ?

Here's a screenshot of device's info if you need more information (in attachments).

Thank you for advance.

Thanks for replying.
I need my recovery file to create my own TWRP. Also, I have to backup my stock rom before flashing anything (like custom rom or Magisk).
Overall, I need my stock firmware.

Ok.
So I try that guide but I have this error after I plugged in my turned-off phone for doing the readback in sp flash tool.

ERROR : S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS_NOT_READY (5000)
[User] This is a secure Base-band Chip! Please select the authentication file first.
[HINT]:

I attached a screenshot of the error if you need more information. If it doesn't show up, this is the link : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmUA1o5VkY3XkXYK_dgvRw3wexJo

Please, what's wrong ? Or maybe what I do wrong ?

Edit : I have a non removable battery

you did nothing wrong. your phone has secure boot, you'll need to use a custom DA
try this particular DA file at https://mega.nz/#!52hBlZiK!1f6GI-3XGRmEZ...hX5ghQURm0 lets know if it works for you
see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23733.html for how to use DA files

So, I used the particular DA file and it's the same error.

But, I would like to point out something :
I've read in xda forum that for some non removable battery, we have to press the volume up power before plug in the phone. And when I check it out with the device manager, I saw that it directly boot into Mediatek USB Port, not in Preloader mode. So, I think that's the root of the error we had earlier.

So, now, I just plug in my phone without pressing anything and it boots in preloader mode but I have this new error :

ERROR : S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (2004)
[H/W] Fail to download DA to baseband chip's internal SRAM !

Screenshot for more details : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmUA1o5VkY3XkXe30WFlG6H7pLiC

And with your custom DA, I have that :

ERROR : S_UNSUPPORTED_VER_OF_DA (1022)
[DA] DA binary file contains an unsupported version in its header! Please ask for help.
[HINT]:

Maybe I need to slow down the start up because it began charging too early.

Just out of curiosity, is using the readback tool in sp flash tool can damage my phone (is harmful or dangerous) or even can brick the phone ?

performing operations on phones with inbuilt batteries varies, some might require to hold a certain button and other will require no button to be held at all. you can try both but its most likely that you'll still need a custom DA to pull this off.

and readback can't damage the OS on your phone, the only thing that could happen is the phone gets stuck in preloader mode [you'll just need to either charge till the phone shows charging sign or you disconnect / reconnect the battery]

Hi,
There's a problem with the custom DA. Right after I choose the DA file (.bin) in explorer, Sp flash tool has just ..... crashed.
I'll try other version of sp flash later (I'm actually using the latest version found and downloaded on hovatek).
Maybe that's the problem, incompatibility.
