Enable the Developer Option on your device
Settings> About>Software Information>More>Tap on the Build Number until you see “Developer option enabled“

Now enable OEM Unlock Settings -> Developer Option and Enable OEM Unlock and USB Debugging.

Download and Extract ADB fastboot on your PC.
Now connect your phone to Computer using USB Cable.
When you connect your Phone to Computer, wait until all the drivers get installed.

In ADB fastboot folder open a prompt command by pressing(Shift Key + Right Mouse Click)
type 'adb devices' in your command prompt window

If you see a pop up to allow USB Debugging on your phone, Click OK.

type 'adb reboot bootloader' to reboot your phone to bootloader

Once your phone reboots into bootloader, make sure your phone shows the bootloader locked now type 'fastboot devices' to make sure fastboot drivers are installed properly.

You will see connected devices. If your phones serial number shows up you are good to go. If the phone is NOT listed this indicates that your drivers are not installed correctly (Install PDA.Net with your phone connected) .

If your device has been recognized, type 'fastboot oem unlock' then after execution, type 'fastboot reboot'.

Done

Did you verify that fastboot recognized your device after reboot?

How did you root the phone? It may give us hints on the cause of the problem.
