Hello,
I am Sagar from India, I am a regular user of mediatek devices, how ever I want to know is it possible to build GCam for MTK chipset mobile, if so I would really like to know how, and who can help me in this regards by hovatek developers, I am currently using Lenovo K8 note xt1902-3, we many user of this device trying to build GCam for our device and also joined to a social networking group for desscussion, but didn't able to figure out any way for GCam on mtk Lenovo K8 note.
So any help from hovatek developers will be really appreciable, as there is no MTK device which support GCam, eargly waiting for your help so reply as soon as possible.

i think that app was made for qualcomm device only the app developer can help you build an mtk version for the app, if you're trying to snap RAW images you can do that in engineering mode
download engineering mode apk or tool hero apk >
launch mtk engineering or super engineering >
swipe to the right hand side -- hardware testing >
camera >
camera type > pure raw
scroll to the end and click preview >
any picture you capture now will be saved as in RAW format
