gud day, I once requested for the stock ROM of Infinix zero 16gb for my bricked Infinix and I was granted access to download then after downloading I flashed it onto my phone using spflashtool but when I initially rebooted the Imei was invalid so I could not make calls, send SMS, browse e.t.c so literally my phone could not function than a 3rd grade ipod.

just then I stumbled upon a thread on this forum https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-116.html to restore the Imei and I tried the different methods I saw.

(1)I first tried the MPOB_001 file replacement method using ROM toolbox lite but didn't change after rebooting *panicking*

(2) I also tried the mtk droid tool method didn't work also kept on telling me ERROR: file adbd not install despite the fact that I installed busybox on the phone before trying it. *sobbing*

(3)I tried the mobile uncle method of changing Imei which I was very good at but it didn't also work. *crying*

(4)then I tried the last method which was format the phone and flash the rom onto it again. then it worked but anytime I switch of the phone or reboot, the Imei becomes invalid again, so now I can't even switch off my phone bcos the fear of "NO SIMCARD DETECTED" is the beginning of wisdom, I guess...

pls save a soul *weeping*

I have the same case here, although mine works even if i restart my mobile and only when on stock, right click on mtk droid tool, open file location, (this is in case your mt Droid tool is on your desktop, but if you can access its folder directly, ignore this) open files folder inside mtk droid tool, copy the file adbd to your mobile, copy and paste it to /system/xbin try to restore your imei again, if that was the only case, your imei will be written permanently, make sure you are on stock rom when doing this.

It seem like the folder /dev/radio is getting wiped everytime the mobile is restarted so I am looking for the solution to prevent it from being deleted

flash the stock ROM > do a factory reset in recovery mode > fix null IMEI using the MP0B method > Set mpob permission to 777 . that ought to fix it

I was referring to the MP0B_001 method. you know you're to change the file permission to 777 after copying to the appropriate folder right?

Pls help me hovatec , after flashing Infinix zero stock ROM, my phone storage becomes 5mb instead of 16gb, can you imagine? Not even 5gb, just a meagre 5.94mb like what am I supposed to do with that? Please kindly provide me with a solution to this life-span-reducing problem
