[Please help] Recovering deleted screenshots / Rooting Gome K1
(24-11-2018, 10:17 AM)Clarina88 Hi, guys!
I hope you can help me with the following issue:
2 weeks ago I deleted about 150 screenshots on my phone and I really need to get them all back. I tried restoring the files using the dr.fone application, but it seems that I need to root my phone first. Here's when the hell began. I'm an amateur, I'm not sure if after rooting I will get back my files, but I want to try it. I've read on different forums about rooting, I am now familiar with some terms, I but still I need help from someone with experience, because I don't want to create bricks in my phone (Gome K1). Now I'm at the step when I need to create a scatter file, and something's not working.
If someone can help me (maybe there is other option except for rooting, in order to get back the screenshots) your help will be much appreciated.
Thank you

Backup your phone's firmware using miracle box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html to obtain boot.bin then rename to boot.img and root using magisk manager https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I tried to do the steps showed in @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html, but I get an error when trying to generate the boot.bin file in Miracle Box 2.58 + loader (none usb port, maybe driver not installed). I also checked the thread @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16386.html, but I had no success. I get the same error in Miracle Box.
I really don't understand what drivers are missing, Miracle Box is not specific about that.
If there is an alternative to Miracle box, please tell me.
Or if can someone can fix the troubleshoot for me in Team Viewer, you are welcome.
Thank you

Hi. When I get to the readback part, I get the error in the attachment. The Flash Tool won't recognize my phone. I have to mention that I have a phone with a non-removable battery, so since I can't remove the battery it goes into charging mode...
