Yes I noticed when I flashed the 4.2 back without selecting ebr 1 and 2 the phone will get stock at the tecno logo but as soon as I flash It on the phone it will keep restarting

what of when you use only the ebr from the 4.4 ROM? and is there a working memory card in the phone?

No there is no memory card on the phone. Have tried a 1gig memory card once but having the same issue of restarting. And is memory card very important when installing the backups

yes. not inserting a memory card during / after flashing could be a cause of bootloops. we've seen it many times.
i suspect this phone is not retaining files flashed to it. can you get access to a working p9 4.2 phone or another backup?

i tried it for te 4.2 backup all t says unknown rom selected and tried it on the 4.4 backup also the same issue
