(18-12-2018, 02:07 PM)X3non ...After flashing stock ROM then Philz, I opened up custom recovery and thought what if I just flash the stable Magisk, so I did, but this is what I got:
lets know the outcome and if there's any errors, state the exact point you get the error. for screenshot, you can use another device to take pictures of your phone screen

On a side note: How can I disable Magazine Lock Screen? It's really annoying.
Update: After trying with v16.7, F2FS Loopback Bug Workaround seems to be not installed using Philz, but upgrading Magisk to v18.0 seems to go well.

if the magazine lockscreen is an app, you can disable or uninstall the app using link2sd (you must be rooted)
(03-01-2019, 12:18 AM)Andrea Papasin Happy New Year guys!
Well, getting back to this issue, I finally got to do the steps from this (including the Note section):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android...y-t3712491
But after flashing Magisk then booting to recovery to flash modules, I always get this error:
Updater process ended with ERROR:1
Regarding the Magazine Lock Screen, I reverted back to v144 and from there, I can just select the normal lock screen.
(07-01-2019, 03:03 AM)Andrea Papasin Well. Thanks for your help guys. Nothing seems to be working, so I'm just not going to download modules anymore.
(07-01-2019, 11:39 AM)freshtyt you can try out the native xposed installer @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16021.html
maybe you might have better luck using native xposed
(08-01-2019, 03:14 AM)Andrea Papasin Thanks, but I'm giving up on it now. I don't know if the problem is with the force encryption, the changing of format to f2fs or something else, but nothing seems to work. I am glad I still have root.
