I have the stock recovery.img file which i extracted from the original .pac file for my phone. My device is Gigabyte GSmart_Classic (Spreadtrum SC7731). Did you tried Hovatek spd auto twrp porter,
It works out of the box.
Try gui version.

its a kernel issue, porting won't solve this rather build twrp from source,
kernel source code most likely isnt available so you have a few alternatives you can use to still use TWRP @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-24209.html (1 & 3)
