Hello Admins, my Tecno LA7 is returning " ERROR: STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED (0xC0030012)" on spflash tool even with the custom DA file. How can get pass this

The phone is requesting for authentication file, seems like you had formatted the phone.
What's wrong with the phone and what's the phone's current state?

Yes I did flash it, and now the phone won't power on and won't flash but system can still detect it

Auth file for tecno models is not available, which is why formatting or flashing using firmware upgrade is not advisable
try flashing factory firmware from the link @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23276.html using software download tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23708.html

Replace LA7 Da with the default download agent in Aftersales software in MTKDA_FP folder, load your rom and connect your device while holding down up volume key, if the up volume key didn't work use the down volume key and once the tool load pass verifying DA release the volume key. I don't remember the exact key that worked for e, just try each button one after the other including the power button. Good luck trying

I think its okay to continue in a thread since it's the same problem we're facing. instead of creating multiple threads with the same topic. People will find it more easier this way than going through each and every thread that deals with the same problem

but yes, if a thread OP successfully resolved the issue and is available and willing to help on his thread then thats fine. sadly most thread OP tend to be unavailable
