Thanks a lot. But I still have a little issue with the recovery. I followed the tutorial on how to Port the recovery and it was successful. I unlocked my bootloader via adb and then flashed the recovery and it was also successful. But when I try booting into recovery, the phone takes me to it's stock recovery. I tried doing it via adb but I got this message:

Downloading 'boot.img'...
Okay [ 0.344s]
Booting...
Failed (remote: invalid kernel address: not lie in memory)
Finished. Total time: 0.359s

I am quite unsure of what to do now.

seems like you're trying to boot and not flash
first ensure you used the stock recovery for phone's exact build when porting
then use fastboot to flash the recovery

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img -- flash recovery
fastboot reboot -- reboot to homescreen
adb reboot reovery -- when the phone is in homescreen, reboot to recovery mode

ensure to try recovery.img from twrp porting tool v1.4 & then philz porting tool; in both tools try recovery.img from 8.0, 8.1 and 8.1G regardless the android version on your device

BTW where did you get the stock recovery.img you're using to port?

Have you tried porting for different Android version as @ x3non suggested?

No. Mine is v053. But am not able to find the recovery image anywhere on Google. I thought of using flashfire(which requires root) to extract it but my phone refuses to be rooted when I use rooting apps. The only way I can think of now is to root it with twrp but... You already know the story. Anyone knows what I can do?
