(30-03-2019, 05:10 PM)SachinBorkar I haven't 64bit phone.
No IDA cannot able to do it in "Techno CX air" case

We can able to force IDA but it may show wrong codes.
I use Hopper instead its showing right values.

i've noticed, but it would be nice to know if IDA would still locate the right hex offset if its forced
esp when a user doesn't have access to a linux PC, are you running linux on a virtual machine?

check this screenshot @ https://www.datafilehost.com/d/358237c9 -- using IDA X64 and same kernel from CXair with symbls applied
maybe you can compare the outcome with that from hopper. this should help tell if there's any differences btw ida and hopper

Sorry that for

IDA takes 20 minutes to load the functions on my system.

So I did not noticed.

Yes, users can able to use IDA.

want to tell you that I patched kernel without symbol.txt

Because hopper doesn't support IDA script.

/* but Hopper is also powerful utility.

But I haven't any screenshots of IDA since I don't used while patch.

I will upload my adventure with missing patch screenshots */

Thanks for confirmation of packed size.

good work testing and confirming
would be nice if you could create a thread similar to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-27138.html OR https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-27200.html
it might help others with the same phone model but can't seem to get it done

Don't add this on current guide.

Since newbies will confuse.

We will create new post and include it on our guide.

The above instructions are for different CPU

We did not support to cracked software.

X3non confirmed that IDA can also able to decompile AArch64 ARM v8a.

Is there a guide for that? What is the setting we must change for aarch64 based CPU on that you used to patch your recovery explained on this thread before.
