Important Notice
  • Miracle Box ideally requires a hardware dongle / box to work. Installing and running the setup without one will end up in an error
  • If you decide to use a Loader version (no box or dongle needed) then your antivirus might flag it as malware. You'll need to disable your antivirus to allow the loader to work but you do this at your own risk
  • Once the device has been detected (under Ports), leave it connected throughout the backup process

Quote:In this video tutorial, i'm going to be showing how to read and write QCN from a qualcomm android phone using miracle box
So in order to do this, you must enable DIAG mode on the phone
So we have a guide at the forum on how to enable the DIAG mode on qualcomm, you can check it out
So let me quickly enable DIAG mode, i've on my phone actually. You can see that it's connected
So adb devices
adb shell
su
So this is the command to enable DIAG mode
Okay so here you go, the phone is now connected in DIAG mode
Now we need to launch miracle box
On the miracle box interface, click the qualcomm tab, Click port, Qualcomm DIAG port should appear but if it doesn't you can select this dropdown bar then select the right port
Now for brands model, you need to select according to your phone, since my phone is not listed here i'm using universal and universal Qualcomm method
Now tick the checkbox beside read QCN then click the start button. So we wait
So once backup is complete you will get the message process done. We can now exit miracle box. You will find your backup under QCN folder. So this is the backup i've just made
So to write QCN back to the phone, still the same process, launch miracle box, of course you'll connect the phone in DIAG mode
In miracle box interface, Click qualcomm, click port or select it from the drop-down box, click write QCN
Click start button
It'll open this prompt, this window
You'll select the QCN you wish to write, click open
The process is a little bit faster than reading
Once it is done. You will get the message process done
So that's how you read and write QCN from a Qualcomm android phone

No, you can't edit miracle qcn and those boxes are to be used if you plan to manually write imei
select write qcn, tick the imei checkboxes then input the imei then proceed with the rest of the write qcn guide

Sometimes you'll have to factory reset after writing IMEI.
You can try re-writing IMEI then factory reset in recovery mode/factory mode.
